Anie Maki / Anna Michelotti
1998
born and raised in Bolzano, South Tyrol
graduated in Communication Studies at Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna
and in Photography at Spazio Labo’, Bologna.
My artistic practice tends to revolve around the theme of relationships, investigating them with my tool.
I work extensively with archive and keep a psychological view on stories, investigating human relationships and creating connections between past and present, observing recurring patterns.
The relational system has always been mysterious and complex to me that’s why I’ve always taken note by observing, whether people, places or beings.
Part of the process is, indeed, listening to people and environments which surround me.
